EXPLORE ANDSU SMOKE SAUNA

Important Tips for Your Smoke Sauna Experience

Whether you're visiting a smoke sauna for the first time or revisiting to savor the experience again, keep these pointers in mind for a safe and enjoyable session.

A 3-hour sauna session for up to 4 people costs 150€.

For the cost of the sauna session you can enjoy a totally private session surrounded by only your friends, family, and the beautiful nature. The hosts are not near the sauna during your session, providing a truly private and immersive experience.

A smoke sauna session for visitors lasts up to 3 hours. Visitors are required to bring their own non-alcoholic beverages and a towel. Andsu's smoke sauna comfortably accommodates up to 4 people. While there is ample space in the room heated by the stove, the front room has two benches for up to 4 persons. However, there is a pleasant porch outside to enjoy nature.

For further information, please check the FAQs

But it is important to remember the next six points:

  1. Enjoy the steam by throwing hot water on the heated stones.

  2. Enjoy the sweating!

  3. Enjoy the nature outside!

  4. Enjoy the company!

  5. Enjoy the alone time if you came by yourself!

  6. Enjoy!

We are proud to share that our sauna has been visited by the BBC, and Hillary Millán wrote an article about Estonia’s naked smoke sauna tradition.

THE STORY OF
ANDSU SMOKE SAUNA

Andsu's smoke sauna is a rescued gem. Originally situated in the village of Puskaru in Põlva County, it faced demolition due to road construction. The previous owner sought a new owner for the sauna, leading to its relocation to the village of Meegomäe in Võru County. The new owner enlisted the expertise of smoke sauna builders to restore this historic small building. By Christmas of 2023, the sauna, now given a new lease on life, had already provided warmth and joy to several visitors, rejuvenating both body and soul.
